What we collect

When you register, RSVP, or create a House of Goodin account we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number if you share it, mailing address, age range, the people you expect to share your room with, your RSVP answer, notes you send us, photos you submit, and records of deposit contributions.

We also keep basic records that make the site work — when you signed in, which acknowledgements you accepted, and messages sent to you about the wedding.

Why we use it

Your information is used to manage your invitation, RSVP, room group, wedding communications, deadlines, payments, travel details, and related guest services.

Payment card details are handled by our payment processor. House of Goodin never sees or stores your full card number.

Who can see it

Guest details are private to Kyra and Donye'a. Other guests only see what you would expect them to see — for example, the names of the people listed in your own room group, or messages you post in a group chat you belong to.

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that run this website, email, and payments on our behalf, or where the law requires it.

Wedding communications

We may use email, website notices, or account notifications to send important updates related to your invitation, RSVP, room group, deadlines, payments, travel, or wedding plans. SMS messages are optional and are sent only when a guest separately and affirmatively chooses YES to House of Goodin text messages during registration. Declining SMS does not affect registration or any House of Goodin wedding service.

Any future House of Goodin newsletter or promotional email will be optional, will never be pre-selected for you, and will always include a way to unsubscribe.

SMS and Mobile Messaging Privacy

SMS participation is completely optional. Guests may decline House of Goodin text messages and still register, create a guest account, submit or update an RSVP, attend the wedding, and use House of Goodin wedding services available to them.

If you affirmatively choose YES to receive text messages from House of Goodin, we collect your mobile phone number and records of your SMS consent to provide account, RSVP, room, deposit, travel, schedule, and wedding-related updates.

We do not sell, rent, share, or provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process this information only as necessary to provide messaging services on our behalf.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Text-message consent is collected in one place only: the explicit YES / NO text-message question on our registration page at https://houseofgoodin.com/register. There is no keyword or text-to-join sign-up, and providing a mobile number by itself is never treated as consent.

Your choices

You can review and update most of your details from your own guest page at any time.

If you would like your information corrected or removed, contact us through the site and we will take care of it, keeping only what we need for records of payments and acknowledgements.
